Chef José’s career was forged in the elite kitchens of Costa Rica’s most prestigious hotels, including the Westin Playa Conchal, Hotel Mangroove, and Hotel Harmony. This 10+ years of institutional experience gives him the versatility to master all kinds of cuisine and the confidence to satisfy the most demanding tastes and complex dietary needs.
But his true passion is bringing people together with great food. As a humble, grateful Costa Rica who loves surfing and fishing, José founded JAM Private Chef to create a more personal, warm, and memorable dining experience.
Alongside his friendly, professional team, Chef José’s mission is simple: to make you feel at home and create perfect memories through impeccable flavor. We handle every detail, so you can simply relax.
